1. What StayIn is

StayIn is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

StayIn is a conversation-practice tool. You rehearse difficult conversations with the people who matter to you — in Guided Practice (you choose between written options), Live Practice (you talk with an AI character), or Custom Practice (an AI practice built from a situation you describe). Articles and worksheets are free to read and download.

StayIn is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, legal advice, or crisis or emergency support. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact your local emergency services.

2. One free practice

Everyone gets one free practice in total — Guided, Live, or Custom, whichever you start first. It doesn't need an account. Signing in doesn't add free practices.

3. The StayIn Practice Pack

• $12.99 total, including any taxes that apply where you live.
• A one-time purchase — not a subscription. You won't be charged again unless you choose to buy another Pack.
• Includes 5 Guided, 5 Live, and 5 Custom practices.
• Separate balances: Guided credits are for Guided practices, Live credits for Live, Custom credits for Custom. They can't be swapped.
• Credits don't expire.
• Buying another Pack adds another 5 / 5 / 5 to your balances.

4. What uses a practice

Starting a practice uses one practice of that type — your free practice first, then a credit from your balance:

• Guided: when you make your first choice in a scenario.
• Live and Custom: when you send your first message.

Browsing, opening a scenario, reading a character's opening line, and setting up a Custom practice don't use one. Reloading the page or coming back to the same practice within 6 hours doesn't use another one. Starting a practice over from the beginning ("Try again" at the end), or setting up a new Custom practice, counts as a new practice.

5. Your account

You can sign in with Google or with a sign-in link sent to your email. You need to be signed in to buy the Practice Pack; your purchased practices belong to the account you bought them with. Please keep access to your account secure and use your own account — accounts are for one person.

6. Payments — Lemon Squeezy

The Practice Pack is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which is the Merchant of Record for your purchase: it runs the checkout, processes your payment, charges and handles any applicable taxes, sends your receipt, and processes refunds and chargebacks. Lemon Squeezy's own terms also apply to the checkout. StayIn doesn't receive or store your full card details. Your practices are added to your account once Lemon Squeezy confirms the payment.

7. AI has limits

Live and Custom Practice use AI. AI responses can be inaccurate, inconsistent, or not quite right for your situation, and the characters aren't real people. The feedback and summaries are for practice and reflection only — please don't rely on them as professional, medical, psychological, or legal advice, and use your own judgment about any real conversation.

8. Fair use

Please use StayIn for its purpose. Don't try to get around the free-practice or credit limits (for example with scripts, repeated new accounts, or tampering with the app), don't abuse or overload the service, don't use it to create harmful or illegal content, and don't share or resell your account or credits. If an account is misused, we may limit or suspend it.

We work to keep StayIn available and accurate, but it's provided as it is and may change, have errors, or occasionally be unavailable.

9. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy and by the consumer law that applies to you.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top. Changes don't take away practices you've already bought.
